Hawkeye Energy Solutions is headquartered in Shorewood, Illinois. Shorewood is a suburb of Chicago, and is roughly 45 minutes south of Chicago’s Loop. Hawkeye Energy Solutions is a division of United Engineering, Inc. We are professional engineers licensed in multiple states. We are also long time members of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

Since 1996, we have been designing, construction managing and trouble shooting industrial and commercial Building Systems. We have found that our customers want accurate energy usage information and not speculation. They want to save energy but they do not have the time or manpower resources to continually ‘monitor’ energy usage. With the help of today’s web based technology, Hawkeye Energy Monitoring is the answer. At Hawkeye Energy Solutions, we are dedicated to saving energy!

Hawkeye Energy Solutions is led by our President, Gary Powers. Gary is a degreed Mechanical Engineer, a registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Energy Manager. He hails from Marquette University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in May of 1987. With over 22 years of experience in the design and implementation of building systems, Gary has overseen literally hundreds of projects in Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Experience, integrity and professionalism describe Gary and the engineers at Hawkeye Energy Solutions.
