Energy Monitoring

Energy monitoring is accomplished with the Hawkeye System. The Hawkeye System is a web based independent network architecture designed to simply, securely and cost effectively monitor energy usage. The Hawkeye System is extremely expandable and customizable. It supports multiple communication protocols so almost anything that consumes electricity, gas, oil or water can be monitored. For example, the Hawkeye System can be set up to give the energy cost per bottle of a given plastic mold machine or possibly the energy cost per square foot of a particular production area. The possibilities are endless.

Expandable & Customizable

The Hawkeye System is extremely expandable and customizable. It supports multiple communication protocols so almost anything that consumes electricity, gas, oil or water can be monitored. For example, the Hawkeye System can be set up to give the energy cost per bottle of a given plastic mold machine or possibly the energy cost per square foot of a particular production area. The possibilities are endless.

Flexibility

The Hawkeye System is extremely flexible. The system can communicate with LonWorks, BACnet, MSTP, Modbus, and other third party protocols as well as integrate systems at the controller level. The Hawkeye System can easily connect to an existing Building Automation System (BAS) allowing it to monitor or even control existing equipment and systems.

Honeywell WEBs-AX™ Energy Analytics

With the addition of the Honeywell WEBs-AX™ Energy Analytics software, users are provided the opportunity to analyze large amounts of stored energy data in seconds. Energy usage can be separated from building to building or department to department. Using the multi report functionality of the WEBs-AX™ Energy Analytics, users can easily identify key usage trends and create usage strategies to reduce energy consumption.

Wattnode by Continental Control Systems

A key component of the Hawkeye System is it's state of the art energy monitoring capability with Wattnode energy monitors. Continental Control Systems designs and manufactures the WattNode AC power and energy meters. Available products include pulse-output watt-hour transducers and LonWorks ® power, energy, and demand meters. Applications include utility sub-metering, end-use metering, equipment performance monitoring, verification, evaluation, and diagnostics.
